Galler UK

Galler is the ultimate luxury Belgian chocolatier, renowned throughout the world for true chocolate excellence. Although big on the continent their route to market in the UK was in just one store - Harrods. Despite the global appeal of its only UK outlet Galler required a bigger presence.

The Challenge

In addition to standard ecommerce functionality Galler required a large amount of bespoke additions on their site including an advanced gift service, multiple warehouse management not to mention a sumptuous online image fitting of their luxury chocolate gifts.

The Solution

Using our Ignition ecommerce platform we expanded the functionality to include a password protected media centre that allows members of the press to access press releases, high resolution images and also entitles them to a press discount. A bulk email facility and a Preorder/gift facility. This facility allows users to purchase gifts for themselves or friends in advance and the order will only be dispatched and payment taken on the requested date. Plus a whole host of other bits and bobs.

The Results

The finished site has more functions than a Swiss army knife on caffeine enabling Galler to harness the full potential of online retailing.
