JST UK

JST is a full service supplier for the design and manufacture of electrical/electronic terminals, connectors and associated application tooling/machinery. With their headquarters in Japan, JST UK approached Azexis to develop a new website.

The Challenge

With over 30,000 products in their catalogue we were tasked with manipulating data from their old website into a more comprehensive solution and bring the JST UK brand up to date.

The JST product line works unlike any other we’ve worked on and the end solution would need to suit both their product range and tooling alike.

The Solution

We took our Ignition platform and rewrote many parts of the product database to suit the requirements of the JST product range. And, reformatted the way products are presented to visitors for ease of use.

Ignition also enabled JST to associate tooling with each product range in an easy to use facility - something not previously done on any of the JST sites worldwide.

The Results

The new website has proved a great success both internally and with clients. With tooling associated with product ranges the site has already won the attention of other JST branches.
